Courtney Schmitt

Hi! My name is Courtney Schmitt and I am a senior at Johns Hopkins University. In May 2018 I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and in 2019 I will be receiving my Masters of Science in Robotics. I've spent my undergrad concentrating in Aerospace and will focus on the Perception and Cognition track for graduate school, taking classes related to AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. I want to explore the ways in which these two fields overlap in application. I love to learn and explore new things, which is why I like to always keep myself busy with a new project. Beyond academics, I enjoy being outside, skiing or hiking, playing with my dogs, listening to music on my record player and playing volleyball.
